Good news that the school baseball and softball team won three silver medals in the 29th Capital College Baseball Championship

Recently, the 37-day 2025 Capital College Baseball and Softball Championship concluded successfully at the Beijing University of Information Science and Technology Field. This competition was directed by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, hosted by the Beijing University Student Sports Association, hosted by Beijing University of Information Science and Technology and Tsinghua University, and executed by the baseball and softball branches. It attracted a total of 48 teams from 27 universities in the capital to participate. This competition has six competition events: Baseball Group A, Baseball Group B, Soft Baseball Group, Softball Group A, Softball Group B, and Soft Softball Group. Our school sent three teams to participate and won the runner-up in the Baseball Group A, Softball Group B, and Soft Softball Group.
It is worth mentioning that the school baseball team, after more than a year of hard training, returned to the finals of the Capital College Baseball Competition after many years and won the silver medal with four wins from five games. I hope they can continue to work hard in the future and persevere in their pursuit of success. Softball B won five out of six games and lost the final by one point. In addition, Sun Xin, a member of the second-division softball team, won the title of home run king with three home runs.
