TVE: Daily La Liga Matches on TV

First Division open football returns to Spanish television. TVE has confirmed the broadcast of one match per day from LaLiga EA Sports through its thematic channel telesport. Coverage begins this Friday, January 16 (9:00 p.m.) with the Espanyol – Girona of matchday 20.

The truth is that this season the provisions of the Audiovisual Communication Law were not being complied withwhich regulates those events that, based on criteria of general interest, must be broadcast on an open signal at the state level, which includes one First Division match per day. Yeah there was the broadcast of a free meeting every weekbut not on television, but on the DAZN platform.

In this way, from the start of the second round in the First Division, the open match returns to the televisions of all Spaniards through TVE, which increases a football offer which already includes the Champions League final (until 2027), the first choice of each Copa del Rey tie or one match per day of the 2026 World Cup, including all of the National Team’s matches.

With conditions

In this way, TVE recovers the First Division ten years later (the 2015-16 season had been his last). Although this does not mean that are going to be broadcast on Spanish Television Real Madrid or Barcelona League matches. Nor from Atlético de Madrid, Valencia or any of the teams that compete in European competitions (Athletic, Villarreal, Real Betis, Celta and Rayo Vallecano).

Of the remaining teams there is a maximum quota of 14 matches for the same clubwith conditions such as that you cannot exceed six broadcasts by yourself as a local or be broadcast more than three times consecutively.

LaLiga already announces through its website the open match selected for the next few days. In addition to Espanyol – Girona with which Teledeporte debuts this January 16, the Levante – Elche (day 21, 23 January) and Mallorca – Seville (day 22, February 2).

The first two broadcasts of the public channel will be on Friday, while that of Mallorca – Seville corresponds to a Monday. It will be a common trend, as the match has been open on most days, both on the day on which the day opens and on the day it closes.
