TSV Trittau: No Sanctions for Bundesliga No-Show – DBLV Update

Press release

TSV Trittau did not play in the away game in the Badminton Bundesliga against the reigning German champions SV Fun Ball Dortelweil on January 18, 2026.

According to a decision by the Bundesliga game director, the game was scored 7:0 games, 21:0 sets and 231:0 points in favor of Dortelweil.

At its meeting on January 19, 2026, the DBLV board decided not to further sanction TSV’s non-attendance.

In a preliminary hearing, TSV Trittau was able to credibly prove that the non-appearance was caused by delays of several hours due to a traffic jam on the A7 and the subsequent breakdown of the club’s own vehicle.

After assessing all the circumstances of the incident, the DBLV board was unable to determine that TSV Trittau was at fault and did not impose any further sanctions against TSV Trittau.
