Tricolle Archers: Awards & Club Achievements

Important recognitions for the Tricolle Archers who organized an inter-regional indoor competition in Ariano Irpino on 28 December 2025, valid for qualification for the next Italian Championship which will be held in Rome from 26 February to 01 March 2026.

The initiative attracted not only archers from Campania, but also competitors from Umbria, Lazio, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Basilicata, with waiting lists of archers also coming from Piedmont, who were unable to book in time to compete.

Considering that each region has its own busy calendar of indoor competitions, with similar characteristics, as in any competition they always shoot indoors and always with targets placed at a distance of 18 metres, it is striking that several have chosen to compete in Ariano Irpino, far from their own regions.

The reason given by the participants is that word has spread in the archery world that this Aryan competition is characterized by a sense of hospitality and by the desire of the organizers to make known the local beauties and peculiarities: from the Norman castle, to the municipal villa, to the museum of Norman civilisation, to the civic and ceramic museum, up to the local production realities (this time on stage the “Pastry Meeting” who offered the participants his sweets and “Ecological Footprint” with its popular gadgets).

The Arianese cuisine is also appreciated by the residents.

Archery is an inclusive sport and it was also interesting to see so-called able-bodied people competing on the same shooting line with people with disabilities.

These are the results of the Tricolle Archers who competed, winning 6 podiums (4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze):

Marianna Rogazzobare bow, female master, oro;

Matilde PuorroOlympic arch, very young women’s, oro;
