Below we review the most notable events of each month, in a year in which RTVE has a lot to tell once again. Not all of them are there, but those that we consider essential are, with special attention to men’s soccer world cup. In addition, 2026 is an Olympic year with the Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Before the World Cup, the Spanish team plays the ‘Very final‘ in March against Argentina, live on La 1 and RTVE Play. And although at RTVE we do not have rights, in Formula 1 the Madrid Grand Prix in September as a big novelty.
