Slovakian U18 hockey players have so far played two games in the championship. In the opening match, they lost to the highly favored USA team 0:13. However, in the second match, they improved their appetite and after an excellent performance defeated Finland 5:2. Slovak star Nela Lopušanová scored four goals in the match. The Czech players, like the Slovak players, have 3 points on their account. In the opening game, they beat Finland 9-1. However, they subsequently lost to the USA team by the same score of 1:9. So today we will probably see a fight for the second place in the group.
