Independiente Santa Fe completed its fourth day of preseason at the sports headquarters in Tenjo, Cundinamarca, and announced its first 4 reinforcements for this year. Coach Pablo Repetto added two right backs, a midfielder and a forward.
The signings announced by the cardinal team are Helibelton Palacios, Yerson Candelo, Kilian Toscano and the Uruguayan Franco Fagúndez. The 4 are express requests from the coach, the last two he directed at Atlético Nacional and Nacional de Uruguay, respectively.
Helibelton and Candelo arrive from Millonarios and América to cover the loss of Elvis Perlaza, side whose contract was not renewed. Toscano, a 21-year-old top midfielder, comes from Nacional where he had little continuity. Fagúndez leaves Santos Laguna in Mexico to try to put together a good attacking duo with Hugo Rodallega.
With these 4 announcements, Santa Fe makes an important advance for the roster that will play three tournaments in this first semester: Super League, League and group stage of Copa Libertadores. In the next few days a couple of more players could arrive, including some foreigners.
