Well, this Wednesday, Eduardo Mendezpresident of Santa Fe, confirmed that he already has two players ready for 2026 that they hope to announce in the first days of January.
“We have principles of agreement with two sides that we must have and we hope to sign them between now and January 5. I have not taken Cándido into account, we did not speak with him,” he said in dialogue with Caracol Radio.
For his part, he referred to the arrival of Franco Fagúndez and Nahuel Bustos, two players who are also close to arriving at the club.
“About Fagúndez, he is a player who 20 days ago reached an agreement with Santos Laguna, who facilitated it and his arrival is confirmed. He should arrive on Monday night” and about Bustos he said: “We spoke with Talleres and there are some agreements, but it is not signed. It is advanced.”
Finally, he revealed that they are close to signing Kilian Toscano, on loan from Nacional and that Jarlan Barrera is not in Santa Fe’s portfolio: “He is a player that the professor had, asked us to have him and we reached an agreement. He arrives on loan with a purchase option.”
