Sanaa Badminton Championship: Junior & Youth Event Launch

The Future Badminton Championship for junior and youth categories began at the Al-Ahli club hall in Sanaa. Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the financial support of the Youth and Sports Development Fund, and in honor of Rajab’s Good Friday, under the slogan “Faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni”, this tournament attracted a large audience.

The opening of the championship was marked by a strong participation of players who demonstrated an advanced technical level and remarkable skill, testifying to the efforts made to develop this sport among young people.

The president of the Badminton Federation, Mu’in Jarallah, explained that the technical level and performances of young players illustrate the significant progress made recently by the sport.

He noted that the talent, enthusiasm and tactical discipline demonstrated by the players on the field confirm the success of the preparation and training plans implemented by the federation and its technical team.

Jarallah stressed that the tournament constitutes an important platform for the discovery and development of promising young talents, and that the promising technical level of the players provides a solid basis for training a generation capable of representing Yemen with dignity in future competitions. He affirmed that the federation will continue to support these groups, considering them the cornerstone of the future of Yemeni badminton.
