The XXXVI San Vicente Archery Trophy, Arturo Arizón Memorial, has been a complete success. what has gathered 46 archers in the new facilities of the Almogávares club, organizer of this event that is part of the San Vicente festival program.
A day in which many members have been able to see the installation that during the last year the entity he presides has enabled Paco Gimenez, who was showing very satisfied with the good development of the competition as well as the involvement of everyone to move forward with this edition of the tournament and which has also served to close ranks and seek even more incentives and promote more activities for the future.
At the presentation of trophies, in addition to those received by the winners and the gifts to all participants, The most exciting moment has been the delivery of the Arturo Arizón Memorial to his father, José Antonio, as a tribute to someone who has been a great manager and trainer at the Almogávares Club.
The tournament has run according to the planned program, first with the qualifying series in the different categories and then with the final qualifiers to establish the final classifications. And as a culmination, a snack and a fideuá prepared “live and direct” by Rubén Mallén who has come out to “lick his fingers.”
The next activity that the Almogávares Club will organize -which will continue participating in the Aragonese League- It will be on April 19, in Sabayés, with the traditional field shoot on the occasion of the San Jorge festivities, which will be at the same time the Aragon Championship. A day of the Field League will also be played on the same stage and the International Trophy, pending the presence of Italian and French goalkeepers. Huesca will also be the scene, on June 27 and 28, of the qualifier for the Spanish Championship. And, as is traditional, the San Jorge trophy will also be celebrated in the first dates of the month of August.
