Salesianos Judo: Regional Success & Rising Stars

He Salesians judo team has demonstrated his talent and progression in the Andalusian Cup of the Western Sectormaking it clear that the club’s judokas are among the most promising in the region. The competition, focused on base categories, served for young athletes to test their technique, discipline and commitment on the tatami.

In the fry categoryAriadna Aguilar won the gold medal in -57 kgcompleting an outstanding performance that places it among the best in Andalusia. Amaro Núñez Camacho (-30 kg) and Máximo Terrés Hernández (-60 kg) achieved the bronzewhile Jesús Calderón Jodar and Adrián Parra Barral (-42 kg) completed a very solid competition, adding experience and learning.

Among the benjaminsthe emotion was lived to the maximum. Noemí Lobato Clavijo (-52 kg) e Iris Álvarez Younnes (-32 kg) they hung themselves orowhile Amira Ismaeel Amar (-40 kg), Paula Parra Barral (-28 kg) and Jesús Anillo Carballo (-30 kg) got the bronze. Thanks to these results, several judokas from the club are already placed among the eight best in Andalusia in their respective categories and will represent Salesians next March 21 in the final phase of Córdobaa new challenge that they will face with enthusiasm and desire to continue growing.
