The Norwegian coach of the Greens, Eirik Horneland, announced this Wednesday to his players that he would leave his post as coach of the Greens on Saturday, after the Ligue 2 championship match against Boulogne-sur-Mer, the Team learned from several sources close to the Loire club.

Aged 50, Eirik Horneland, who previously managed SK Brann (Norwegian first division) signed with ASSE, then in Ligue 1, on December 20, 2024 to replace Olivier Dall’Oglio. Saint-Étienne is currently 5th in Ligue 2, two lengths behind Red Star (2nd).
