After finishing trying the Mandalika Circuit, Rossi admitted that he was very impressed. He really liked the seaside track.

“The Mandalika Circuit is extraordinary, I really like it,” said Valentino Rossi in a video sent by Pertamina Lubricants, quoted Friday (30/1).

Rossi then explained the reasons why he likes the Mandalika Circuit. According to him, the track requires racers to be able to go fast. Apart from that, the quality of the asphalt is also topnotch. Because the surface is flat, meaning there are no ‘bumps’ that bother riders.

“Because the layout is very fun, I really like this track because it is very fast and just flows. Then it also has lots of turns to the right, then the asphalt is amazing, there are no steps. So this is a good track,” said Rossi.

For the record, Rossi came to Mandalika with the VR46 Racing Team crew, trainees from the VR46 Riders Academy and his MotoGP students. The former MotoGP racer from Italy is scheduled to lead practice until Friday (30/1).

Rossi’s arrival to Mandalika has been eagerly awaited for a long time. It’s just crazy, as stated at the beginning, this is his first presence at the seaside track. Last year, he canceled his attendance because he was busy as a car racer.

However, on a number of occasions, Rossi expressed his desire to come to the Mandalika Circuit. Because, according to the information he received, the track has beautiful views and a challenging layout.
