Real Madrid wants to strike hard next summer. Castello Lukeba, French central defender of RB Leipzig, is now the priority of the Merengue club, according to the Fichajes website.
Real are looking to strengthen their central defense. Eder Militao remains, but David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger, at the end of their contract, will not be extended. The names of Ibrahima Konaté and William Saliba have been circulated, but Castello Lukeba seems the favored choice. Fichajes specifies that Real is ready to offer around 50 million euros for the former OL player, bought for 30 million by Leipzig in August 2023. “Florentino Pérez validated this choice,” explains the media, but RB Leipzig could judge the sum insufficient and demand more.
A soap opera to follow for the summer
At 22 years old and under contract until 2029, Lukeba could accept the opportunity. Several Premier League clubs are also following the 1m84 defender. This file therefore promises tense negotiations and total suspense for the upcoming transfer window, according to Fichajes.
