AFC Bournemouth has given its new signing a hefty release clause. According to Fabrizio Romano, Rayan’s contract has an exit clause of 100 million euros. This means that the striker’s exit option is more than twice as high as the around 35 million euros that the Cherries transferred to CR Vasco da Gama for him.
The transfer is intended to fill the big gap left by the departure of Antoine Semenyo (26) to Manchester City. The 19-year-old offensive player has signed a contract with Bournemouth until 2031. Rayan has also been linked with FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the past.
