After a 3-1 defeat to Palmeiras, this Saturday (24), at Arena Barueri, in São Paulo (SP), Rafael gave an interview at the end of the match.
“I think the impact was greater because we played a game that didn’t match the result. In the best moments we were on the field, we ended up conceding a goal. They had three or four counterattacks and ended up being happy, but our attitude was different. We controlled the game well, we know that every classic is very difficult and this one was decided in detail”, he analyzed.
The goalkeeper also valued the team’s attitude and reinforced their focus on the state championship.
“It’s worth highlighting the team’s attitude on the field, the team tolerated it well, we managed to develop our football, I think that’s the way forward. We’re working hard and we’re going to try to improve even more. We have three more games to seek classification and then knockout games”, concluded the athlete.
São Paulo returns to the field next Wednesday (28), against Flamengo, at 9:30 pm, at MorumBIS, for its debut in the Brasileirão. For Paulistão, the next duel will be on Saturday (31), at 8:30 pm, with Santos, also at MorumBIS.
