This weekend, the Buttes de Questembert sports complex is hosting the Morbihan Youth Badminton Championship organized by the Morbihan Committee.

There are 166 players aged 7 to 17 years old who will compete on the pitch with a view to the semi-finals and finals. Many compete over one or two days, bringing in around 135 players for Saturday and 95 for Sunday. They came from all over Morbihan: Vannes, Lanester, Ploërmel, Kervignac, Caden, Muzillac, Elven, Pontivy, Ploemeur. Their weekend is punctuated by several meetings yesterday Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday.

On the program we find:

Singles: 1 against 1 non-mixed
Mixed
Double men
Double women

Over the two days, semi-finals and finals (mainly this Sunday) take place.
The weekend will end with the announcement of the winners who will direct their attention towards the Brittany Championship scheduled in 15 days in Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande in Ille-et-Vilaine.

Furthermore, throughout the championship, a catering point is available in the hall of the Buttes sports complex to keep spectators entertained.
