PSG is always exploring new territories to conquer. He had never tried music and this will soon be done with an original initiative which could help reveal young artists from urban culture.
In partnership with Universal Music, the club is launching a project called Ici C’est Paris Music Lab. The objective is to create content which will then be used by the club for jingles during matches or on various video content.
Concretely, a call for applications opens this Tuesday, January 13 via a form to fill out on the club website. It is aimed at different profiles: producers, authors, composers and performers. To be able to apply, each artist must prove their activity on at least one streaming platform (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, etc.) with titles already published and transmit three demo links.
Candidates guided by Nono La Grinta, Bas, ElGrandeToto and Carbonne
For this very first edition, only the first 1,000 applications will be taken into account. A jury composed of several recognized professionals from the music sector, including the artistic directors of Universal Music, will preselect 60 candidates who will then pass an audition, the ultimate gateway to participating in a writing camp, at the Parc des Princes, from February 27 to March 1, 2026. For three days, the candidates will be accompanied by established artists such as rappers Nono La Grinta, Bas, ElGrandeToto and Carbonne. Several composers and beatmakers will also be present such as Blackdoe, Seezy, Max & Seny, Todiefor, Seysey and Zeg P. Radio Nova and Les Inrockuptibles, reference media in the musical landscape, are supporting this project.
“Music is at the heart of Paris Saint-Germain’s identity,” recalls Fabien Allègre, chief brand officer of the club. It is an integral part of the experience at the Parc des Princes and also tells, with its language, our Club, our identity, our epics. This first Ici C’est Paris Music Lab allows us to go a step further, by imagining a real space conducive to musical creation for established artists and emerging talents, called upon to draw the contours of the Club’s new sound identity.
