Ibrahima Konaté has still not decided on his future. Six months before the end of his contract with Liverpool, the French international remains in the sights of PSG and Real Madrid.
According to El Nacional, Paris Saint-Germain is ready to do anything to convince the rock of Liverpool. Luis Enrique wants to bring him in at all costs and the Parisian club is “ready to offer Konaté a much more advantageous contract than that offered by Real, both in terms of fixed salary and bonus”. Real Madrid seems less generous and the battle is mainly between Liverpool and PSG. The Reds absolutely want to keep their defender while the Parisian club, motivated by the summer transfer window, is preparing a colossal transfer offer of zero euros.
A close fight until the end
The file promises to be intense until the last minute. According to El Nacional, PSG is also monitoring the situation of Dayot Upamecano, but Konaté remains the priority. The signing of the former RB Leipzig player will depend on the balance between Parisian generosity and the Reds’ determination to keep him. The next few weeks will be decisive in knowing where the Frenchman will play next season.
