Persib Loan Releases: 2025/26 Squad Update

Bandung

The 2025/26 Super League half-season transfer market has been rolling since January 10. A number of clubs are also starting to show off new recruits to strengthen their squad in the second round.

However, Persib Bandung has not done this. Until now, not a single new player has been officially announced as coming to Bandung. Instead of bringing in additional ammunition, Persib actually tidied up the team composition by releasing a number of players.

The latest step was taken by lending two names at once, Rezaldi Hehanussa and Hamra Hehanussa to Persik Kediri. Both will continue the remainder of the season wearing the White Tiger uniform.

The departure of Rezaldi and Hamra adds to the list of Persib players who have been released on loan. Since the start of the season, Persib seems to have chosen a strategy of loaning players to other clubs in order to get more consistent playing minutes.

Previously, seven players had been loaned to various clubs. Ferdiansyah moved to Semen Padang, Adzikri strengthened Persijap Jepara, while Zalnando joined Persita Tangerang.

Then Dimas Drajad was sent to Malut United, Dedi Kusnandar to Bhayangkara FC, and Henhen Herdiana, who was previously loaned to Persik Kediri.

Coach Bojan Hodak said that the loan of Rezaldi and Hamra was made to give the two brothers the opportunity to play. For Rezaldi, injuries were an obstacle after the player performed impressively in his first season.

“His (Rezaldi) contract will also end this summer (end of season), so he has to play. He understands that and if he plays well there, I am always happy to bring him back because he is a good left back,” said Bojan.

As for Hamra, Bojan said the player had not shown the best performance like last season. According to Bojan, that performance made him cast Hamra

“Of course he also needs playing minutes and I hope he can be like last season. Because that’s what made us bring him in,” said Bojan.

However, it is not impossible that the loaned players will return to strengthen Persib again. “So the two players were loaned there, but in the future, we can still keep them if they play well,” he explained.

Even so, the Croatian coach confirmed that no more Persib players would be released in the middle of this season. “Yes (only 2 players were released) because we still need the others. So we can’t release many players,” stressed Bojan.
