Formed in the São Paulo club’s youth categories, the midfielder never joined Verdão’s professional team. Coach Abel Ferreira liked the player and believed he had the potential to be one of the best in the world.
After 44 matches, two assists and no goals scored at Palmeiras, Jhon Jhon moved to Bragantino and became the team’s protagonist.
Between the transfer year and 2026, the midfielder accumulated 76 games, 20 goals and 14 assists. In the current season alone, he scored three goals both times he took to the field.
