In goal, Dominik Greif takes his place to secure the rearguard. In front of him, the defensive line is built around Ruben Kluivert, Clinton Mata and Nicolas Tagliafico, responsible for containing the opposing offensives while ensuring the first restarts.
In the middle, Fonseca lines up a dense and mobile quartet. Maitland-Niles occupies a hybrid role, capable of projecting as well as defending. Tanner Tessmann and Tyler Morton provide balance in the center, while Afonso Moreira brings width and percussion to his side.
Further up, Corentin Tolisso inherits the captain’s armband and positions himself in direct support of the attack. His experience and his vision of the game will have to guide the young elements in the strong moments as well as in the more delicate moments.
