Excitement is increasing in the Africa Cup of Nations. In the last 16 round match of the tournament hosted by Morocco, Nigeria and Mozambique faced each other in the match played at Fes Stadium. The ‘Super Eagles’, played by Victor Osimhen, Paul onuachu and Wilfried Ndidi, made it to the quarter-finals with a 4-0 victory.
Nigeria will face the winner of the Democratic Republic of Congo – Algeria match in the quarter-finals.

Lookman, Osimhen (2) and Adams scored Nigeria’s goals. Akor Adams and Ademola Lookman made 2 assists each in the match. Osimhen was replaced by Moses Simon in the 68th minute. While Ndidi remained in the game for 83 minutes, Trabzonspor’s striker onuachu replaced Lookman in the 86th minute.
