The Lions returned from the 1-1 draw at VfL Osnabrück on Sunday evening without any injuries – that’s positive. On Monday afternoon, Markus Kauczinski asked for a unit on the first place, but only the reservists were there – and Florian Niederlechner and jaw patient Sigurd Haugen with a cut face mask.

Of course, the 55-year-old is not yet expecting the two offensive lions for the home game against Alemannia Aachen (Saturday, 2 p.m., db24 ticker). His view of the staff: “Not much will come back. Maxi Wolfram will come back. He had a cold, he had an infection. Otherwise it will take another week or two.”
