Still without world champions Franz and Moritz Wagner, the Orlando Magic suffered a bitter defeat in the NBA. The team from Florida State lost 112:120 to the Washington Wizards from the bottom of the table on Wednesday night. The Wagner brothers were still missing due to injuries.
European champion Tristan da Silva was in the starting five and put up 13 points, but this wasn’t enough for success. For eleven games now, Orlando has alternated between victory and defeat. With a record of 20:17, coach Jamahl Mosley’s team is just outside the direct playoff ranks in seventh place in the East.
