NBA 2K26 FIBA: National Team Competition Begins

MIES (Switzerland) – A new and exciting chapter of eFIBA will be written with the participation in Season 4 of 58 national federations, all sharing the ambition of becoming virtual basketball world champions.

The competition will take place in the NBA 2K26 Pro-Am game mode and will officially begin on January 13 with the Africa Zone Pre-Qualifiers. This phase will take place from January 13 to 23, with the North America Zone Pre-Qualifiers as a conclusion. The teams that qualify from the Pre-Qualifiers will take part in the Regional Qualifiers, scheduled from January 31 to March 8.

This new adventure will culminate with the participation of the best teams in the world in the highly anticipated eFIBA Season 4 Finals in Doha, Qatar, at the end of April.

Organized for the first time in the Middle East, these finals will see eight nations compete for the world title. The upcoming season is expected to bring increased interest and visibility to all teams and the competition, with an eFIBA World Title and prize money worth USD 50,000 on the line.

For Season 4 ofeFIBA, all teams are divided into one of six Regional Conferences, to ensure the best possible experience for players and fans.

Each region will be based on a structure based on three phases of competition, namely the Pre-Qualifiers, the Regional Qualifiers and the Regional Finals. The top two teams from each Conference will qualify for the eFIBA Season 4 Global Finals.

All information relating to eFIBA Season 4 will be available on an updated website, which will allow fans to follow the action up close and access match streams, team and player information, as well as view match schedules and results. Season 4 will also be streamed on the channels Twitch et YouTube eFIBA official tournaments, starting with the Regional Qualifiers.

The main hosts of the new season are once again Vince Chang, Chris Simpson and India Zuleimad, while Jasmine McKoy and Taras Metencuks complete the team.

The new season will also see Tissot expand its extensive FIBA ​​portfolio with the addition of eFIBA, with the introduction of two awards: the ‘TISSOT Clutch Time’ and the ‘TISSOT MVP’.
