National 2: Alençon Win – Play-off Hope Remains

The Alençon badminton club, CAB, is still in the race in its Nationale 2 group. And if leader Orléans were to fall, this N2 could send it to N1.

Except that the leader, against the other Ornais, the Bayardist neighbor of Argentan, enforced the hierarchy with a victory. An improved 8-0 victory which gives him one more point in the rankings.

The Alençon Badistes won a 6-2 victory against Saint-Maur. Which allows them to hope.

We are very happy to beat the leader of our group at home, even if they were missing a player. It’s another great performance from my team.

Yann Lesmesle, captain of the N2 team.

Orléans’ victory against Argentan was “the only downside”. The CAB’s objective is always to reach the play-offs. “And it remains relevant,” summarizes Yann Lemesle.
