Montalbano Elicona Archery: FITAST 3D in the Snow

The second round of the winter regional championship turns into an epic challenge between cold, technique and passion for archery

On Sunday 11 January Montalbano Elicona hosted the second round of the FITAST 3D Winter Regional Championship, a competition also valid for the purposes of the national championship. A day destined to remain in the memory of the participating archers, who faced a competition field made even more challenging by a heavy snowfall.

The difficult weather conditions tested concentration, endurance and technical ability, giving the athletes an extraordinary sporting experience. Great credit goes to the AMALAC association, which oversaw the organization of the event with professionalism and dedication, managing to create a functional and safe shooting course despite the adverse climate.

Excellent results obtained by the Enna archers, protagonists of notable placings in their respective categories: Madonna – Arco Foggia Storica: 1st place for Marianna Mazza, Messere – Arco Foggia Storica: 1st place for Gaetano Savoca, Madonna – Traditional Arch: 6th place for Loredana Notaro, Messere – Traditional Bow: 4th place for Gaetano Campisi. A competition that combined sport, nature and a spirit of adaptation, confirming the technical value of the athletes and the organizational strength of the FITAST movement.
