AC Milan is tightening the reins in its courtship of ex-Mainz player Jean-Philippe Mateta. After FTAccording to information, the Lombards submitted an initial offer for the striker, but Crystal Palace rejected it. The 28-year-old has already agreed with Milan that he would compete with DFB striker Niclas Füllkrug (32).

Mateta, who regularly shoots in the Premier League, only has a year and a half left under his contract with Palace and can imagine a move this winter. Juventus Turin and Aston Villa are also showing interest in the Frenchman.
