Pelle Larsson once again accounted for 16 points as the Miami Heat took revenge (122-120) on the reigning champions Oklahoma City Thunder.
When Miami visited Oklahoma last Sunday, it was a 112-124 loss, the Florida team’s third in a row. Then as now, Pelle Larsson scored 16 points.
In the night’s home game, it was the Heat, in eighth place in the Eastern Conference, who drew the longest straw after great drama. They thus broke a five-game winning streak for the reigning champions, who lead the Western Conference by far.
Pelle Larsson was highly involved with his 16 points, two assists, three rebounds and a “steal”, in 30 minutes.
– I didn’t get as tired as I have been in the last few games. I’m back in good match shape after the injuries, Larsson told Aftonbladet.
Oklahoma’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 39 points. For the 113th consecutive game, he accounted for more than 20 points, approaching Wilt Chamberlain’s record (126) from 1961–1963.
