Third league match for Melilla Ciudad del Deporte Wheelchair Basketball, which, on Sunday, January 18 at 12:00 p.m., faced Covirán Churriana Inclusivo in Granada.
Second defeat of the season for Chico Ruso’s team, who fell at the home of the Nasrid team in a match dominated by the local squad, which closed the first half with a 23-12.
Covirán’s defense led the Melilla team to make too many mistakes in awkward shots that did not find a good ending, which caused Melilla Ciudad del Deporte to be trailed throughout the game.
The second half was more even, but the plus of the local team allowed them to open the gap a little more on the scoreboard and, after a second half score of 32-20, the match was closed with a 55-32 that keeps the Granada team undefeated.
Melilla Ciudad del Deporte BSR will play the next matchday on Sunday, January 25 at 12:00 p.m. in the Javier Imbroda Pavilion against BSR Fortuna, a match with free entry for Melilla fans.
