MOURNING – The Christmas Grand Slam ended with great satisfaction and important results for some pre-competitors of the Accademia Canavese Judo. The one who shone above all was Federico Meinardi who, in the Children B category, won a splendid gold medal, fulfilling a long-chased dream.
Just before the end of the year, Federico managed to put the most precious metal around his neck, imposing himself with determination on all his opponents. A success that represents an important goal but also a starting point: this gold medal must be just the beginning of a long journey with the aim of always aiming to improve.
Good performance also for his older brother Francesco Meinardi who, in the Children’s category, finished the race in third place. Despite not being able to go further, the podium remains a valuable result and an incentive to continue growing. Unfortunately, Filippo, the youngest brother, was unable to participate in the competition and had to withdraw shortly before the race.
Bronze medal also for D’Herrin Etienne and Martina Greco in the Boys category. For both, another third place arrives which confirms their competitive level, even if they still have to overcome that step of the podium which so far seems difficult to unlock. Leini’s Christmas Grand Slam thus confirms itself as an event full of emotions, capable of providing satisfaction and important motivation in view of the upcoming sporting challenges. As always, we thank the parents of the young athletes who always follow them on this sporting journey.
