“Stefan Posch is an experienced defender who is good at tackling and playing well and can be used in central defense and on the defensive wing. He has already proven his quality both in the Bundesliga and on the international stage and his characteristics make him exactly the immediate help for the defense that we were looking for in the second half of the season. We are really looking forward to him, also because he wants to get involved in our project of staying in the league with full conviction,” says sporting director Niko Bungert.
Stefan Posch says: “I’m really looking forward to the task here in Mainz and can’t wait to be on the pitch with my new teammates.
