Do you want to try something new? Are you looking for a sport? Would you like to get acquainted with dance, yoga or photography? Or exercise more with peers? Then now you have the chance. The new period of the Sports and Culture Hopper will start at the end of September. This spring you can choose from almost 500 lessons and courses. And even if you have a disability or are a bit older, there is a nice offer. An ideal way to discover what suits you.

Registration for the spring period of the Sports and Culture Hopper has started. Until February 9, you can participate in a lesson, training or course at approximately 100 associations and providers without any obligation.

This could be anything, because the range is really enormous. From badminton, BMX, karate, freerunning and skating to Nunchaku, Korean swordsmanship, swimming, scouting and exercise for the elderly. But also toddler gym, yoga, writing, photography, Animal Flow, resilience training, fashion, theater, Pop Theater Musical Dance, circus or walking. In total, more than 500 lessons and courses are offered. So almost anything is possible and there is something for everyone.

How does it work?

  • Go to the website www.sportcultuurhopper.nl. There you will find an overview of the total sports and culture offering and all providers.
  • Choose a sport or activity to see what options are available in your area. You may register for a maximum of three courses, lessons or training. Age categories apply to a number of courses.
  • After the registration deadline you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information. And then you can participate in the chosen lesson or course.

The Sports and Culture Hopper is organized by Huis voor de Sport Groningen and Vrijdag in de Buurt on behalf of the municipality of Groningen.
