Leerdam – Stadspodium GO is launching a brand new music festival on Saturday, February 7, 2026: the GO Future Proof Festival. From 5:00 PM, six young, emerging bands from the region will take the stage for an evening full of fresh energy, courage and creativity. The festival is made possible by the Darius Foundation.

The GO Future Proof Festival was set up to give young musical talent from the region a professional stage. The participating bands represent diverse styles — from indie to pop, from rock to experimental — and show what is going on among the new generation of musicians. The festival therefore fits seamlessly with the mission of Stadspodium GO: encouraging, connecting and growing talent.

A new musical tradition

The organization hopes to start an annual tradition with the festival that focuses on young musicians. The event contributes to a strong, visible and future-proof music scene in the region.

“With the GO Future Proof Festival we really put young talent in the spotlight. They get a professional stage, an enthusiastic audience and the opportunity to grow. This is exactly what GO stands for: discovering, inspiring and connecting,” says the organization.
