The hypotheses on a possible coexistence between LeBron James e Stephen Curry were dismissed in no uncertain terms by Rich Paulhistoric agent of the Lakers star.
The topic came up during a discussion with Max Kellermanwho had imagined an intriguing technical combination, talking about two point-forwards flanked by a point guard accustomed to moving without the ball.
“I was thinking of Draymond, two point forwards on the same team with a point guard who plays a lot off-ball,” Kellerman explained. “The more I think about it, the more I feel like I need to see it. And the more I think about it, the more I think it would make basketball sense for both teams.”
Paul’s response, however, was clear and ironic.
“Why don’t we just play ‘you’ve got it’?” he replied. “It won’t happen. Why do we keep talking about things that won’t happen?”
When Kellerman pressed for explanations as to why the operation was unrealistic, Paul chose not to go into detail, simply reiterating that the scenario is not destined to materialize.
