BASEBALL. Gathered in Granby this weekend for their annual general meeting (AGM), the teams and the management office of the Quebec Major Baseball League (LBMQ) laid the foundations for the 25th season of the Bélisle circuit.
Supporters of the LBMQ will have something to eat when the season in the diamond resumes its activities when the snow melts. On the program, a schedule of 30 games in the regular season for the eleven teams on the circuit.
“The playoff formula remains the same with qualifying series 2 of 3 for the teams which will be classified in the last positions in the B45 and Louisville Slugger sections. Subsequently, the following rounds are all contested under the formula of four of seven,” informed the leaders of the LBMQ.
As usual, the LBMQ will participate in the next edition of the Canadian Senior Baseball Championship, from August 20 to 23. This year, the classic organized by Baseball Canada will be played in Miramichi, New Brunswick.
Finally, the LBMQ AGM will end this Sunday with the annual selection session live from the Le Castel hotel. The event will be webcast on the page Facebook from 11 a.m.
