Latvia Floorball Team: World Championship Qualifiers Squad Revealed

Finnish specialist Lukkonen has included two goalkeepers and eighteen outfield players in the national team. Nine floorball players play daily in foreign clubs, while eleven come from ELVI floorball league teams. The biggest representation is from the leading clubs of the Super League: “Rubenes”, “Masters Ulbroka/LU” and “Talsu NSS/Krauzers” – three players each. One floorball player will be from Cēsi “Lekrings” and “FBK Valmiera” organizations. Of the nine players playing abroad, three each represent the teams of Finland and Switzerland, two – Sweden, and one – the Czech Republic.

The Latvian national team will play in the EUR 1 tournament at the Liepāja Olympic Center. Our direct opponents in subgroup B will be floorball players from Slovenia, Hungary and Ukraine, while in group A the national teams of Switzerland, Norway, Great Britain and the Netherlands will compete. Three teams will guarantee their way to the final tournament.
