He should be among the players who will almost certainly be leaving by the trade deadline of February 5th De’Andre Hunterhe was Cleveland Cavs with your suitcase ready.
The Cavaliers will try to unload the contract by another 48 million dollars until 2027 of Hunter and lighten their salary, already having players ready to take over the rotations in Jaylon Tyson and Nae’Qwan Tomlin. De’Andre Hunter is traveling to almost 14 points on average per game but with low shooting percentages (42% from the field, 31% from three) and worsening compared to a year ago. He still remains a player versatile e expert in the role of small forward.
Hunter would be followed by the Los Angeles Lakers looking for a reinforcement in the role, and which they could offer to the Cavs Dalton Knecht and one future second pick in the draft as a basis. Cleveland is the only team currently above the second tax apron and for the salary rules every trade must match to the cent: i Lakers or one third team they will therefore have to add contracts and players to close.
