Pickleball, a sport combining badminton, table tennis and tennis therefore, from now on, its courts on the site of the Prairie sports center within the Alésien tennis club (1921).

A simple game, less physical and more fun than its big brother, this sport invented in the 60s in the United States, practiced by millions of Americans, is played on a small court (close to that of badminton), with a net and a light plastic ball pierced with holes. With rackets smaller than those of tennis but larger than those of ping-pong, this discipline therefore has its public equipment in Alès.

On Monday January 26, four courts were inaugurated by Karine Velot, president of the Alès Tennis Club accompanied by Éric Largeron, vice-president of the French Tennis Federation, Marie-Claude Albaladejo, sports assistant for the city of Alès, elected officials Pierre Martin and Léa Boyer, as well as the mayor of the town Christophe Rivenq.
