Robert Klauß has been without a job since he left SK Rapid at the end of April. There was interest from various clubs, but there was probably not the right option for the 41-year-old German.
According to information from “Sky”, the former Rapid coach had an offer from FC Pafos. But he is said to have rejected that last week.
The Champions League representative from Cyprus was looking for a coach after Juan Carlos Carcedo’s departure to Spartak Moscow. In the meantime, Albert Celades took over the club around veteran David Luiz.
In the last few weeks there have been repeated reports of possible interest in Klauss, but he is said to have rejected all offers from the second German Bundesliga and the second Spanish league.
