By far the best club in Finistère among young people, the Badminton club Kemperle (BCK) dominated the departmental championships, organized on Saturday January 24 and Sunday January 25, 2026, in the Salle des Cordiers, where 256 matches were played during the weekend. Engaged with 64 players, BCK won 24 gold medals, 27 silver medals and 33 bronze medals. 69% of the medals went to young Quimperlois, with all the other clubs in the department winning 37 medals, including twelve gold.
By far the best club
For BCK, this beautiful weekend was an opportunity to confirm that it remains the best training club in the department. The protégés of the president, Jacky Hamoniaux, won medals in all categories. There were even several 100% BCK podiums, such as those for the junior ladies’ singles, the junior ladies’ singles, the junior men’s doubles, the junior ladies’ doubles, the junior mixed doubles and the chicks’ mixed doubles. Enough to satisfy the club’s two coaches, Jérome Aubert and Quentin Tuaillon.
42 medal-winning players
Of the 64 BCK players qualified for these Finistère championships, 42 returned with at least one medal. The Quimperlois club has sixteen new departmental champions: Louka Bihan (two titles), Malou Bossard, Charlotte Brevier (three titles), Noah Chardon, Margot Corne, Félicie Garnier, Jeanne Kern, Bleuenn Le Bronnec Flouret, Lylou Le Clainche, Tyméo Le Clainche (two titles), Nathan Mainguet Bourdat, Maïlyss Paugam (two titles), Victor Pinto, Margaux Robins (two titles), Antoine Tallec and Titouan Veillot (three titles).
