Käkavians beat “Valmiera” in the battle of neighbors of the tournament table

In the fight for the 5th place in the ELVI floorball league men’s standings, “Ķekava/RB&B” achieved an important success, which tonight at home with 7:6 beat the team “FBK Valmiera”. The decisive goal scored by Kārlis Degins.

In the Ķekava sports complex, after the first period, the scoreboard announced the advantage of the home team – 3:1. Patriks Bliska scored two goals for the Ķekava team, and Valters Kalnietis scored one, while Artūrs Bergs scored the only goal for “FBK Valmiera”. By the middle of the second third, the guests were already in the lead with 4:3, but before the second break, the Ķekava team had regained the lead with 5:4. Three minutes before the end of the regular time, the result was still tied (6:6), but then Kārlis Degins converted a pass from Valters Kalnieš into the winning goal. “Ķekava/RB&B” won 7:6, recording three points in the tournament table.
