Perpignan hosted the departmental archery finals. The local club was represented by two talented young archers in the U18 category, Karl Baron and Rémi Bossi. The morning was devoted to qualifying events. Karl Baron stood out by taking first place. For his part, Rémi Bossi, who was returning from an injury, put in a great performance by finishing 5th, narrowly missing his qualification for the final stages.
From 2 p.m., time for the elimination duels. Karl confirmed his form of the day by stringing together victories with seriousness and regularity. In the final, he was able to maintain his calm and precision to win against his opponent, thus winning the U18 departmental title.
This performance rewards the work of Karl Baron and the involvement of his coaches.
Thanks to the determination and talent of its young archers, the club is proud to fly its colors high on the department’s shooting ranges.
