Stefan de Vrij was allowed to start in a competition match for the first time since October. Trainer Christian Chivu prefers 37-year-old Francesco Acerbi – provided he is fit – so De Vrij gets few minutes.

After the break, Esposito, Dimarco (post) and Thuram missed opportunities and Pisa could still hope. Until Dimarco himself scored, with a volley from Marcus Thuram and the assist to Ange-Yoan Bonny. The final score went to Henrich Mchitarjan, who made it 6-2 in injury time.

Mchitarjan (37 years and three days) is the fifth oldest goalscorer in Inter history. Only Sinisa Mihajlovic, Javier Zanetti, Edin Dzeko and Acerbi were even older, but also 37 when they last scored.
