Homs, Jan 16 (SANA) Homs Al-Fidaa defeated Al-Karama 81-65 in a match held today at the Ghazzwan Abu Zeid Pavilion Hall in Homs, corresponding to the third day of the Syrian Men’s Basketball League.
The Homs team dominated the match from the beginning, closing the first half with a 48-28 lead thanks to its solid defense and a well-organized attack.
Homs Al-Fidaa coach Samer Satma told SANA that the team focused on exploiting its opponent’s weaknesses and maintaining an effective defensive plan, and expressed confidence that this performance will be maintained in the upcoming matches.
For his part, Muhannad Haj Hamada, secretary of the Basketball Federation, highlighted the high level shown by both teams and the enthusiasm of the public present.
