At around 3 a.m. on Saturday, a 25-year-old reported to the police that several people were rioting in the Erchenstrasse area and damaging a window. When the Heidenheim police arrived, they found out that a group of people had previously been refused entry by a restaurant owner because he wanted to close. The group of people who were turned away then returned a short time later in a red car. One of the people took a baseball bat out of the vehicle and hit the front door glass several times. The glass was broken by the blows. The group of people was able to escape undetected before the police arrived. The damage amounts to around 500 euros. The Heidenheim police are now investigating property damage and are accepting relevant information on the number: 07321322432.
