On January 9, the fifth meeting of the fourth committee of the Guizhou Provincial Badminton Association was held in Guiyang. Committee members from all over the province gathered together to plan development and draw a blueprint to build consensus and gather strength to promote the provincial badminton industry to a new level.

Honorary Chairman Xu Heng of the Guizhou Provincial Badminton Association, Honorary Vice Chairman Liu Lei of the Guizhou Provincial Badminton Association, Yang Zi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Sports Work Brigade, Wang Bin, Vice President of the Guizhou Provincial Sports Vocational College, Luo Ping, fourth-level researcher of the Group Department of the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau, Huang Wanhui, Deputy County Mayor of the Jinping County People’s Government, Luo Lihong, Chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Badminton Association and other guests attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Luo Lihong, chairman of the Guizhou Badminton Association, comprehensively reviewed and summarized the association’s work in 2025. In the past year, the Provincial Badminton Association has made steady progress in party building, youth training, talent team building, event exchanges, social publicity, etc., and has made substantial progress in various tasks. The meeting also clarified the work goals and key tasks for 2026, emphasizing the need to fully implement the spirit of the 2026 National Sports Work Conference and the Provincial Sports Work Conference, and deeply study the speech of Ma Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau at the “Mass Sports Work Welcome Symposium”; build and improve the event system, make every effort to ensure key events, innovate emerging events, and continue to optimize the layout of youth events.

Subsequently, the meeting reviewed and approved the “2025 Financial Report of the Guizhou Badminton Association” and the “2026 Work Plan of the Guizhou Badminton Association”, as well as issues such as the addition of Li Boyang and Zhao Longfei as members of the Guizhou Badminton Association, and commended advanced individuals and units in 2025.
Xu Heng, honorary chairman of the Guizhou Badminton Association, pointed out in the summary of the meeting that 2025 is a year of hard work and fruitful results for the Guizhou Badminton Association. With the joint efforts of all members and relevant units, all work has been solid and pragmatic and has made significant progress. I hope that in the new year, everyone will continue to unite and work together, always maintain their love and passion for badminton, further strengthen learning and exchanges, actively learn from advanced experience, and jointly promote the rapid development of Guizhou badminton.
