The Guatemala Women’s Under-17 National Team will dispute the round one of the Concacaf 2026 U-17 Women’s Qualifiersphase that will develop from January 24 to February 2, 2026 to define the teams that will represent the region in the U17 World Cup. This initial stage will be played in different venues designated by Concacaf, and the Group Cin which Guatemala is located, will have as its headquarters Curacao.
Game format and quotas for the next phase
Round one of the Concacaf 2026 Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers is played under a group stagewhere each team plays three games in a scheme of all against all. Each victory grants three points, a draw one and a loss none, and the classification is defined by points, goal difference, goals scored and other criteria established by Concacaf.
At the end of this first round, The first places in each group advance to the final phasean event that will bring together the best teams from the region where the United States, Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico are already located and will be decisive in assigning the tickets to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Championship 2026.

In this initial stage, teams from Central America and the Caribbean participate, distributed in six groups made up of five teams each. Guatemala was located in the Group Cwhere it will share competition with Haiti, Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia and Antigua and Barbudain a phase that will be played entirely in Curacaoheadquarters assigned for this sector.

Guatemala calendar heading to Morocco 2026
Guatemala will face three games during this round one, which will be played between the January 24 and February 2, 2026with interspersed days that will allow recovery between meetings.
As part of its preparation, the Guatemala Women’s Under-17 Team is already training at the facilities of the High Performance Center (CAR) in zone 15where the coaching staff works on physical, tactical and group cohesion aspects.
The ultimate goal of this qualifying process is to secure one of the tickets to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Championship 2026a tournament that already has a confirmed venue and will be played in Morocco. This edition will mark a new stage for the competition, which will feature 24 participating teams and is part of the new annual format promoted by FIFA for the development of youth women’s football.
