Galatasaray is preparing to add 22-year-old young attacker Yáser Asprilla, who plays for Girona, one of the Spanish LaLiga teams, to its squad. It has been reported that the yellow-reds have made important progress in this transfer and the Colombian football player is expected to join the team on loan + purchase option.

Journalist Pipe Sierra stated that although contacts were made with Benfica, Ajax and Marseille, the best offer came from Galatasaray.
Asprilla, whose main position is right wing, can also play as number ten and on the left wing. The young player, who played for Envigado, Watford and Girona in his career, produced 17 goals and 15 assists in a total of 176 official matches in his club career. Asprilla, who played 11 times for the Colombian National Team and scored 2 goals, was transferred from Watford to Girona in 2024 for a transfer fee of 18 million euros and signed a contract until 2030.
